Snowy Tuesday

Today was a fun day- can you tell I think they are all fun!  I love my kids!  Today we began with our morning circle- complete with a through review of the sounds and last week's poem.  We ended circle earlier than usual so we could go outside before seeing Ms. Michelle.

It's been a while since we saw Ms. Michelle and we were SO happy to have her back!  She brought a new, thick white tunnel for crawling.  It was a HUGE hit.  She also shared animal action cards and the children had fun pretending to be a waddling walrus, a wiggling worm, and other crazy animals!  In White Feely Box was filled with cottonballs, a white mitten, white balls and sparkles.  We talked about and enjoyed feeling the new objects.

Today's adorable story was Here Comes the Snow.  Because this text is designed for early readers, the children were able to help me read the word 'snow' which happens to appear often!

Today's art project was Magic Painting.  The children were given Magic Water (water saturated with salt) to paint on black paper.  At first, it was invisible, but, as it dried, it became white!  How did that happen?????

We can't wait for tomorrow's big science project!
